Question: Living in Kansas City north?

So I’m considering a job in Leavenworth and have been researching the area. I’m not really from there, and wondered what anyone call tell me about north kansas city? (It’s a reasonable drive.) I know Overland Park and Leawood are some good areas, but they are too far a commute.

So what’s the area like in North Kansas City/Lansing, KS/Platte City?

Answer: I would say try living in Lansing, KS they have good schools and it isn't a high crime area, its actually kinda nice, My cousin lives in Lansing and my father works in Leavenworth. I wouldn't move to north Kansas city it is still quite a drive, Lansing is a nice town and it isn't too far from anything that you would want to go to. Good Luck! I hate the people that say stay in MO, Missouri's roads are rediculous and the crime is the same it just depends where you are.
