Hi! we’re looking for a baby Holland lop or Mini lop, and we’re not sure where to go for well-socialized, healthy baby buns!

petco bunnies are skittish, and we don’t know where else to go.

Question: does anyone know the current forecast track for this snowstorm. i heard that kansas city is expecting snow?

if it changes i am going to be disappointed with the weather guys, if it stays i will be happy for the rest of my life. by the way how much snow are we expecting if this snowstorm is true to come to kansas city. i am so excited for it since i live in overland park kansas. please tell me where it is at and if it is going to change or not i know it will be here next monday into possibly next tuesday.

Layoffs announced and rumored this week were in the Government, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Financial/Banking, and Publishing sectors.

Inclusion on this listing doesn’t mean the entire industry is down, as many from the same sector appeared on the “Who’s Hiring” article published 10/19/09. It is interesting to note that while Federal hiring is on the rise, a number of State and Local governments have continued to see cutbacks for over the past month.

Health care organizations were laying off such as Valley Mental Health, Bristol-Meyers Squibb, Cook County Health System, Oak Forest Hospital, Pfizer, Carestream Health, Navilyst Medical, Eli Lilly, Smith Medical.

Publishers continued to shed jobs as Time, The New York Times, The Charlotte Observer, and McGraw-Hill announced layoffs, while rumors swirled all around Conde-Nast about which units would face job cuts.

Job seekers: You might want to look in greener pastures than these companies.

City Of Overland Park Ks

Question: Anyone know of any organizations in the kansas city, mo area that will pick up unwanted furniture for free?

I am moving back home from my apartment, and I cannot afford to move some of my furniture. I don’t have the time to search for people that want it or that can come and pick it up, and I have yet to find any local charities (overland park, ks, kansas city, mo area) that offer a free pick up donation services. I would hate to have to dump this furniture somewhere, when it could be put to use, please help!

A Butterfly Called Happiness (a children’s book, ISBN of book is: 978-0-6152-4410-5) is the centerpiece of Elisa James’ work and will be available at the Unity Church convention in Kansas City on June 8 – 12.

• PLAYSHOP #2 : A reading of the inspirational children’s’ book for adults – “A Butterfly called Happiness†with Q&A session about happiness and gratitude, gratitude games and exercises and an informative DVD presentation about butterflies and transformation.

 

• PLAYSHOP #3: “Singing for happiness†playshop. This is a one hour workshop for children up to 14 years old. It begins with singing games and vocal warm-up exercises. The happiness theme song and story song is then taught to the children. The children read along with the lyric sheet until they are comfortable with the song, then they use the karaoke tracks provided to perform the song live in front of the class.

 

• PLAYSHOP #4: “Happy Scarves – Juggling to musicâ€. This is a fun group playshop for kids of all ages. Juggling with scarves helps kids focus and relax their mind while the colorful scarves float through the air in time to the music. The benefits of scarf juggling include patience, coordination, team spirit, laughter and creativity.
